1. What can I expect during a bridal appointment at Yasmin Rose?
At Yasmin Rose we believe an inviting and relaxing experience is a must when looking for 'The Dress.'
Our shop is based in luxurious surroundings, we work on a private appointment only basis  to ensure our attention is focused solely on the bride. We do not allow walk in appointments, our entire boutique will be kept exclusive to the bride during the entire appointment slot.
We like to start by having a chat about the various styles and fabrics you would prefer to get an idea of your personal style.
We ask that you have an open mind, brides will often find 'The Dress' by trying on the styles they wouldn't usually go for! Bridal gowns have very little hanger appeal, it is always worth trying at least 2-3 different styles.
 
2. How long are the appointments?
We offer 1½  hour appointments. For most brides this is usually enough time to talk through ideas and try on a variety of gowns. We also offer a VIP Experience at a small price which gives brides 2 hours of trying on gowns and accessories. 

 

3. Who should I bring to the appointment? 
We recommend bringing a close friend or family member whose opinion you value most and who you would like to experience buying your gown with. We suggest bringing no more than 2-3 others as it can increase the chance of  conflicting opinions.

4. Where will I get my dress altered?
We have an in house seamstress with a fantastic reputation who can carry out the alterations of your dress.
 
5. What underwear is best? 
If possible wear nude or white underwear.  A strapless bra is usually a good option. Support undwear is great feel free to wear your sloggies!! We ask that you keep your makeup minimal to help keep our gowns in good condition.
6. How long will it take for my gown to arrive? 

You should allow up to 6 months for your dress to arrive - This is because your gown will be hand made specifically for you.

 

7. I'm getting married in less that 4 months, can I still purchase my gown with you? 
Yes, certain designers are able to meet your time frame for a "rush order" gown, however, this will include an additional  charge.

 

8. What size are your samples?

Our samples range between UK sizes 8-16, but don't worry if this is not your size we have a few ways we can show you how the dress will look on you as if it was the correct size.

 

9. What is the price range of your gowns?

They range between £1200 - £3000. We also have sale dresses between £500-£1000.

 

10. Is there available parking? 
Yes, there is secure free parking on site.

 

11. How and when do I pay for my dress?

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to place your order. The remaining balance is due when the dress arrives, before your first fitting.

 

12. Can I return my dress?

We advise each bride to choose their gown carefully as we do not accept returns. Although we are sympathetic if a wedding is cancelled, all items must be fully paid for and collected. At Yasmin Rose we are always striving to fully satisfy our brides. However, we are not responsible for a change in mind or body size.
